Casa Del Turista  is located Paseo De Turistas beachfront in Puntarenas, Costa Rica - located within a minute walk from an arriving port of  luxury cruises that bring tourists to the area during the summer. A two  minute walk in the other direction brings you to ferries that run to the Nicoya peninsula. The Casa also offers trips to nearby beautiful Tortuga Island among other day trips.

Puntarenas is located two hours away from the San Jose airport, making it San Jose ’s closest beach. Surfing can be found 45 minutes north of Jaco beach boasting famous surfing spots Boca De Barranca (second  longest left wave in the world) and Caldera port. Jaco Beach and Hermosa Beach are also home to many international competitions.

Puntarenas is known for its exciting nightlife along the beach during the weekend nights, with everything from salsa and nightclubs to karaoke bars and reggae bars on the beach. For a change of pace enjoy relaxing on the beach for some quiet time during the day. The Casa is located only four blocks from the fiestas but far enough away to enjoy a cold beverage poolside in peace.
